Watch our new video of Noorderhoek, a neighbourhood in Sneek, The Netherlands, where 207 houses are connected to a sustainable and circular wastewater treatment system. A Desah wastewater treatment installation in which black water, grey water and food waste is collected and treated separately. The source separated system has a low energy and water consumption, recovers valuable raw materials, such as fertilizer and biogas, as well as heat and delivers extremely clean water after treatment, which can be reused for various purposes.
